All over the world. Whichever region is rich in Mineral is gereally well off with people. South Africa with gold. People are genreally well off
Russia is rising again based on oil strength
All nordic couties in Europe , in asia middle east have highest standard of living based on minerals & oil. It seems bit illogical to find our mineral rich states being most poor. I am sure part of money genreated from minerols are used to develop local areas

earthy man you are right biut in India, the earthy resources are for Govt not for common man as in most of the country, there they are just labours. In Bombay High all revenue goes to Govt or ONGC not to common man.
