According to me every person cal live in any where in india without objection.Raj Thackeray or any one have no authourity that they comment on any one.if in india this types of setuation is created then when we goto out of india then you can guess how they treat with us.So giving this types of nonsense provoking speach is not right for our country.Jai hind.

Agree on the non violence part with you ,but does that mean that locals should keep quite about their own rights in their own motherland Raj has done nothing wrong , Abu azmi and Amar singh must be arrested as they have provoked the issue and challanged Raj . 80% of Locals are not against outsiders coming in Mumbai ,they are against the abuse that these outsiders ,especiialy the "Bhaiyyas" do by forming cartel;s and not allowing locals to do their daily task THIS IS THE MAIN ISSUE FOR REVOLT

Hei Kaushal, who gave you the impression that "outsiders" are not allowing you in Maharashtra to do your business properly? This is only imaginary grievance. If you are capable to do business, do it the hard way and show that you are also capable. The solution does not lie in calling others names and destroying the property of innocent people and the poor drivers of trucks and vehicles.

If you have guts, allow all Birlas, Bangurs, Goenkas, Tatas, Jajodias and Bajorias and all the Gujarati business houses and business persons to take their belongings and leave Mumbai. Mumbai will no longer be attractive for any one, including for crores of Maharashtrians who will then be in the streets without any jobs.Do not therefore be foolish in asking for migrant population to leave Mumbai or Maharashtra.

If North Indian made maharshtra as devloped state please make one more sacifise by devloping north east. And if south indian got so much power please learn HINDI. Sachin, Do u think Bombay is owned by you?? This is a free country and anybody can move anywhere. We are not living in History where each state has a prince and people have to live as per their whims and fancies. Can u make sure that no Marathi work outside Maharashtra and I will make sure that all UP Bihar people will leave Maharashtra. World is developing with very fast pace. If you stop yourself to listen to these fools lkike raj thakrey you will be without job and he is be making crores making you fool. So concentrate in your studies work hard. Fight for dignity of your community by not becoming violent but doing something worthwhile. Hope u understand.

I think you are not a Mumbaikar. (Mumbaikar - A person who has born and broughtup in Mumbai or having a experience of staying in Mumbai with knowing the Marathi language and culture over here) I personally do not want anyone staying peacefully in Mumbai to leave. But if the UP/Biharis are making a display of "power" over here then they must be kicked off from Mumbai. Ye POOWA ki bhasha aap aapne ghar yaani Bihar/UP mein karna.... Mumbai mein nahi. Stay here peacefully. Orelse because of few UP/Bihari fools all of the community will suffer.

Why are you guys misquoting locals . This is not a war between any communities .These are just locals fighting for their rights . Hope you will understand this . "If not better try to understand" Will you tolerate any person who will stay in your house and not respect you or your language. You may not have SELF RESPECT , we certainly have it. If we settle elsewhere we must respect that lands culture and language We had enough outsiders now and there must be a limt to it. ( Of course those who have come prior to 1995 are now locals too.)

I agree with ritesh .. mumbai is what it is today because of immigrant population .. be it gujaratis , marwaris, punjabis, biharis and UPites . everyone has fuelled economic development... by same logic you should call all mahasrashtrians back from abroad .. they are affecting the local cultures there
Aamhala Hindi and Marathi yet aahe - inspite of being south indians.
However we must accept one fact
In Mumbai most people from outside the state do not learn Marathi even after years, do not try to understand and appreciate the local culture. This is much different from other large cities where migrant populations have to learn the local language and appreciate local culture alongwith retaining their own culture.
The standard argument set forth is the following a. Mumbai was not built by Maharashtrians alone b. Mumbai is cosmopolitan and is different from other places c. Mumbai came to Maharashtra by accident etc etc.
These arguments only serve to further alienate the local populace.
It is a settled issue for the last 40 years that Maharashtra was formed as a linguistic state (as in other parts of the country) and Mumbai is its capital. That does not stop Mumbai from being the finacial capital and a city of national importance but that does not mean that the local culture is treated less respectfully that those in other parts of the country

i am a south indian born and bought up in mumbai & now living in pune.. while Raj thackeray may not have even an iota of concern for what normal marathi maanus has to go thru in his daily life i would certainly not say he is the biggest culprit.. biggest culprits are those ministers of UP & Bihar who have let their states down badly.. becoz if they had governed their states well their people wud not have had to go begging for jobs to mumbai & other places.. unfortunately nobody here criticises those ministers but we all blame raj thackeray !! south indian migrants into mumbai or maharashtra has gone down drastically over the last 15-20 yrs becoz Hyderabad, bangalore & chennai have come up well.. not the trend has reversed now a mumbaikar wants to go & work in a posh IT cmpy in Bangalore, hyderabad & chennai.. so now nobody can make noise abt southindians becoz if they do their people will also have to be kicked out & sent back to maharashtra but UP & Bihar are yet to come to that level.. so instead of blaming raj thackeray people must ask for accountability from laloo's, mulayam's, mayawati's etc etc..
Do we Indians have the guts to ask them these questions???

Point is, arrest all, and report all. If only arrest of Raj is reported, there will be problems and it is easy to blame his people. Arrest all people responsible, reaction by mns will be less. We need less reaction bec it will loss of innocent's life and property. Let these people say anything, if you ignore what all they say, it will help all. Just make them realise you are not important.. but media is making heros from them and helping politicians to take advantage of the situation.
