Progress
by Rohit Kanwar on Feb 08, 2008 10:45 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Maharashtra is a very progressive state.
In 2005 a few hundred farmers were committing suicide in Vidarbha.
In 2008, that number has risen to a few lakhs.
Tremendous progress this!

the Maharashtra government accepts a figure of 1920 from January 1, 2001 to August 19, 2006. The Vidarbha Jan Andolan Samiti (VJAS), a farmers' movement, puts the toll at 782 from June 1, 2005 to August 26, 2006. And, in the last three months, there has been a suicide every eight hours.

only mumbai is for marathi.
who cares for rest of maharastra,
what if people are dying and there is no infrastructure,
what if naxal are spreading there.

we want mumbai to be devoid of capital and full of beggers.

jai maharastra , we will destroy mumbai before others can do it.

Probably the biggest culprit for so many suicides by Maharashtra farmers is the Maharashtrian himself viz. Sharad Pawar, being the agricultural minister, doing nothing except thinking abt ckt all the time.

thats true becoz bihari are oor labour class and still the land owners are marathi.
its easy to blame others. see the situation and then talk. if all will go back marathi will be left with no jobs.
