I do not understand why Gandhiji, Nehru and all the freedom fighters efforts are being put down the drain.
What's the difference in these politicians and the Britishers who ruled on a divide and rule basis. These politians are similarly trying to divide between Marathi and other languages or Maharashtra and the rest of the states.
India is a democratic country and every Indian has every right to be everywhere and anywhere in India. Instead of fighting for individual states and languages we need to be one as a country. Why not say `Jai Bharat Mata' instead of just 'Jai Maharashtra' ??? why not amcha Bharat Mahan ???
I am an Indian and a proud one I'll be. I know not of culture discrimination.

Being a staunch Nationalist,is a right and duty of every Indian. But we forget one aspect.Unity in diversity can be practised only on paper and does not have a practical approach. Unfortunately, in India, people are equally to blame as the Netas. It is very easy to put the blame on politicians and get away. But the fact remains that the whole system is rotten beyond imagination and its difficult to overcome this situation.Merely talking about discrimination based on religion & caste is not going to help as one has to or rather compelled to accept the ground realities. Therefore the religion/caste/creed are bound to exist in India until there is a uniform civil code where everyone is treated at par.Although this may sound foolish for some, considering the poverty line of this country,i am afraid, that is the only solution.Getting rid of Reservations and special status like Article 356,Stringent anti-corruption laws are some measures which can be helpful.Every responsible citizen of India looks forward to see a developed and proud nation.
