Being a North Indian myself, I have to accept the truth. But having lived all my life in Mumbai, and Maharashtra i differ on the comments about western Indias residents. Maharashtrians and Gujaratis are the most placid people and not prone to breaking the law. They are the biggest upholders of law since they depend on the laws to go forward in life.
Maharashtrians, as a whole must be the most laid back community as a whole.
