the main problem is that a minor section of marathis think that they are not able to enjoy develoment of mumbai and north indians are reaping benefits.but this is not true .development of mumbai of today is only because of people outside the state.marathi people just have to show dynamism and they can prosper. also a large number of marathis are employed by north indians only. if anyone thinks marathis will be able to enjoy developed mumbai if other indians leave then he is terribly mistaken. dont listen to politicians like raj thakrey,amrar singh,abu azmi etc.they can kill people ,incite people and can not do anything else.nothing will happen to them and only poor people ,marathi or other wil suffer by the way what is the contribution of raj thakrey in constructive benefit of mumbai or marathis exept promoting regionalism,inciting people ,dividing hindus and country and bashing poor helpless people?
but the silver lining is that majority marathi people are peace loving and want peace and prosperity only and are aware of evil designs of raj thakrey.

ABSOLUTELY WRONG. You don't have understanding of the issue. You are saying Mumbai's development is ONLY because of outsiders and we take STRONG exception to this. Why didn't you help your own state match Mumbai? Why did you come to Mumbai in the first place? Because city offered you opportunities and environment to prosper. That environment to prosper is the result of hard work put in by us Marathis not only in Mumbai but in Pune, Nasik, Nagpur etc etc. Thats why you guys throng to these cities.
Why don't you take your own politicians to task? What has this Amar Singh and Mulayam done to UP? They ruled UP for so long but not a single achievement and you guys are telling us how to prosper in Mumbai????
We are basically peace loving people. We LOVE India more than anyone else but at the same time we love our language also. We respect your languages and cultures and we expect the same from you.

BUT I STAND BY MY POINT THAT MUMBAI IS DEVELOPED ONLY BECAUSE OF COMPOSITE AND METRO STATUS ONLY.
AMBANI ARE GUJRATI AND MANY OTHER BIG HOUSES ARE FROM OUTSIDE STATE ONLY.
MAHARASHTRA AND MUMBAI HAS PROSPERED BECAUSE OF ITS BIG HEART.
MARK MY WORDS MARATHI PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BENEFIT FROM PEOPLE OUTSIDE STATE.(NOT NECESSARY FROM UP AND BIHAR).
BESIDES MUMBAI IS NOT ANYONES FATHERS PROPERTY.PEOPLE OF INDIA ARE FREE TO MOVE AND LIVE ANYWHERE IN COUNTRY.

I'd generally accept the statement that the people of India are free to move to any part. But, are they also free to make a mess of their home state and then move to other states. Don't citizens have any responsibilities? Do they only have rights? Set your home state right before you force yourselves on others. Other states such as Andhra, Karnataka and Gujarat have done it. If Mayawati can be the 19th richest tax payer, what prevents UP from being a prosperous state?
