Even after 8 years past 21st century, people are not able to think beyond their states!! What is the meaning of big talks about sustained growth rate at 10%, Chandrayan, IT superpower?? I think all of us will go back to our states and live there. No one will cross the borders of other states

Well said Ms.Urmila. As you said after seeing the violence on the TV's I just felt like vomiting. If this is the development we have achieved and so proudly talk about We need a deep introspection in life about what we have achieved and aim for.

I fully agree with you, Urmila!!! You have hit the nail right on the head! People should watch Chak de India to see how the coach, Shahrukh Khan (Kabir Khan) is totally uninterested in what states the players come from. We need to be united and we are always INDIANS FIRST!!! Maharashtrians, North Indians, South Indians will ALWAYS COME LATER!!!

Thackerays are confused guys. They think 'Marathi' is a separate identity or ethnic group. They are erroneous in their assumption. But the ethnic divide within India is true and some day or the other, the division will show up. Thackereys have not found their true alignment. The Marathi culture is very very Indian and in a good number of ways differs fromt he actual Aryan culture and yet the Marathis also follows certain things like the calendar, which are cent percent Aryan. A person who is more interested in preserving Marathi culture needs to do more research that the Thanckereys.
