Simple question. Big Bachhan has spent his life time in Mumbai. Can he speak Marathi? How fluently? There are so many others like him who cant. Does this happen anywhere else in the country? Thats why Raj is right.

I dont find the need for that. Mumbai is a cosmopolitan place. Its not fair to impose Marathi culture on migrants. Especially when they are fellow Indians who are of same emotional and cultural make up.

There are loads and tons of people in Karnataka who cant speak Kannada.. and more come in bus loads everyday to Bangalore.. we hate them, they cause huge strain on the meagre utilities we have.. but we have to accomodate them becuase we are nice decent people.
