Just because she has a Ph.D from the US does not mean her arguements are crystal clear and very objective. I only see her putting up a belligerant posture to evade the pressure that Pak is getting from the US. Is there a better way to do it in this day and time than to rail against the US? Ms. Mazari's giving a clean chit to AQ Khan shows how illogical she is. Pak is a lap dog of the US. Yet, she raves and rants against the hand that feeds her.

Ms.Mazari is simply stating the position of the Pak Military, and finding reasons to do so!! There is nothing new in what she says and her sense of reasoning is amusing, to say the least. To say that terrorists don't need the nukes is simply absurd. People who believe they will go to heaven and be served by beautiful damsels if they die in the process of carrying out jehad, cannot be expected to be logical or reasonable in their approach. They are simply fanatics who will stoop to any level and Ms. Mazari cannot expect the world community to sit and watch while the devils are let loose in Pakistan.

She misses a point... What if the non state actors (terrorists) take advantage of the fluid political situation in Pakistan and sieze power. They would then be transformed as state actor potentially capable of nuclear strike on anybody. Even if they dont...would they remain mute against US and Israel and possibly India as well. In that case wouldnt Israel want to preempt? and in retaliation in a do or die act Pak under the control of terrorists launch nuclear strikes against US, Israel and India without bothering about consquences on itself? Her arguments are fine to listen too. But the fact is that Pak is the epicenter of terrorrism and state of pakistan is in a fluid state and so stands a grave danger to peace.

I agree. AQ Khan is a crook who ofcourse violated international protocol. To this extent, he issue an public apology.
So, I don't agree with defending AQ Khan. At the same time, her agrument about US and France proliferating Israel is very bold and true. Infact, France was the country which fully sponsored (technology) of Israel's nuclear programme in 1970s I guess.
These countries have done so with complete transparency - violating all possible international laws. To date, Israel hasn't declared itself as a Nuclear state though it has fully functional nuclear programme and hundreds of nuclaer weapons. Everyone knows the unilateral action US takes to further its interests.
Its like pot calling the kettle black - practice before you preach. Though I am not completely supporting Ms. Mazari's statements, it takes courage to call spade a spade - and I am with her for publicly speaking truth.
As for feeding hand, US is not helping Pak out of philanthopic interest. What is the harm if Pak has its independent international stand.

According to her logic its quite legal to sell nukes and in Pakistan the sale take place like this.
