First time ever in my life time I wish to praise a Pakistani. He thoughts are commendable, what ever relation we have with Pakistan, we must acknowledge many of the issues she has raised are of concern. Also India and Pakistan have been victimised by so called Nuclear Capable Group by denial of technology in name on non proliferation. In fact India needs nuclear technology to use it for energy crisis more than any other nation after China, owing to its huge population and energy needs. But by quoting non proliferation Nuclear Group is keeping the must needed technology out of reach of India.

If India is in so much need then why doesnt it sign the NPT which will clear all the ways to nuclear deal or why doesnt it develop its own technology.....you want to beg with a sword in your hand....it doesnt happen my freind.

The matter that is being discussed is something else.

Mubeen, India is working to develop. Now asking for technology is not begging. India is willing to pay the price, its like why to waste time in reinventing wheel. Its better to pay the price and use the technology.

Well India is not the only nation short of power, there are many. Why did US wants to go ahead with a deal with India only, because it trusts that India is a responsible nuclear country.

I am not advocating for US policies but rather I do not agree to your original post of praising the pakistani view and saying US has made India a "victim" in the guise of non proliferation.

If you understand the situation, under the deal US says that it is ready to give the civilian technology of use but for fuel India needs to negotiate with nuclear suppliers group who control the procude of uranium. Its fair deal I would say.

Its not just the trust. US wants to create trust among Indians for itself. Reason, US knows comming are the years of India, if it ignores India it will loose. Again they are not doing charity.
