Raj Thackeray speaks the truth, hence we are not able to accept it
by Tazir on Feb 04, 2008 10:23 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Every word that Raj Thackrey has said is steeped in truth and reality. Television channels have conveniently mistranslated his Marathi speech which only underlines the marginalisation of the Maharashtrian. I dare NDTV to present the actual translation of his speech to our non Marathi countrymen. He has not said anything against any language or culture but has only said that everyone who lives in Maharashtra should accept and respect the Marathi tradition. I am of South Indian origin but I consider myself first a Maharashtrian and then everything else. Maharashtra is my motherland and my pride.

Jai Maharashtra!
Narayan Parasuram

Do you mean to say you are a Maharashtrian first and a human later?

Dont talk rubbish... What Raj has said is wrong. It was just an extension of such a policy that led to ethnic cleansing of the Jews by Hitler. He has belittled the contributions of the various non-Maharashtrian communities towards making Mumbai the financial capital of India.

What is his contribution towards Maharashtra? Please dont say Shiv Udyog Sena, for that was an unprecedented disaster.
