Look no one has any problem in saying jai maharastra to live in mumbai, provided he/she is willing to say jai bharat ... to live in india. after all maharastra is a subset of india. or is it not? you tell me.

it should be Jai-Hind and then Jai-Maharastra..Nation comes first and everything is second.
