In my opinion India need not care about pak. India has to think about global competation in science and technology. India doesn't need any help from pak. India's democracy is known worldwide and pak's terrorism is also known worldwide. Now it is the time that india has to dump this SAARC countries and try to get good friendship with developed nations such as japan, singapore, euroeian union, canada, USA,etc.

No! You need Pak! Pak is on the verge of disintegration into 5 dominions.
Then India has to keep fighting 5 nation states than a single nation. And that will be a rogue battle that would sap Indias energies more; it may hurt Pak more, but that is a different issue. That is why Indians say unity and integrity of Pak is in Indias interest.
Use your might to bring Pak and Bangladesh together and assure military safety and cajole them to put resources into development. Use common markets.
Dont get blinded by narrower version of patriotism. Use your intellect to build a pan south asia whose influence extends to middle eat and south east asia. There lies whether you are a statesman or a practitoiner of narrower version of patriotism.
When in doubt always follow what George Washinton did. But for him you would not have the mighty US now.
YOu have an opportunity to become the US of east. The choice is yours-take it or leave it. If you leave it still you will survive and succeed but you will never know what you have lost.

India can work together with countries, which are secular and democratic only. Countries whose constitution defined on a particular relegion can not be suitable for india to work together.

India can become US of east on its own. No need to take or think about other countries, which are interested to become no. one in the world in terrorism. Whether pak. becomes 5 nations or nationless who bother about it? They are responsible for 3 wars with india? India is spending crores of money for military only due to pak. Now pak is harvesting its past. India can observe this and not to involve or not to help anything to pak.
