Indian education System
by vispy ichhaporia on Feb 03, 2008 08:57 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

I had learnt in my school days E=mc2. I am in media i dont use this equation in my daily life. But if i could'nt answer this equation in me exams I would fail. what I want to say is that our education system is old and not prctical at all. Today a 5 year old carries a bag of books which weighs not less than 6-7 kgs. Is education defined by quantity or quality?

When did you finally take decision to become lawyer? System cannot teach you skills until you decide to. There are plenty of courses offered after 10th (which is and should be bare minimum academic qualification to take on any stream). Parents and sometimes students adopt streams which provide good earning potential in future rather than taking one which justifies their own skills. It is not system's problem. It is a problem related to greed of individuals and thus heavy expectations. Systems has all the courses to offer right from ITI.

I think you are ill informed... the minimum qualification for one to enter the stream of their choice is atleast 12th Std or a graduate.

So what is that you wanted to convey? You would have started learning journalism in the school itself.

Problems are to be identified. Abut, talk about the solutions also. Dont brood over the problems only.

Not learn journalism but atleast let students know what journalism is???
Please don't reply unless and until you have not understood what one wants to convey
And for your kind information... there is a great person named Prof. Yashpal he has recommended sea changes in our education system...his idea is to make our educational system based on practicality and theory.
