Exactly. On the development scale of 100, if USA is 90 then India is 9 and Bihar is 6. Blame yourself why India is not USA rather than blaming Bihar for not being India. what lets me down is India that has one sixth of the world population but hardly wins any medals in Olympics! I feel so ashamed because I am Indian, not because I am Bihari.

The point is not about what we are. The point is whether we are moving forward or not. While rest of India is moving forward, it is sad to see some parts of the country move in the opposite direction.
Even more saddening fact is that Bihar is not only becoming a poorer in terms of money but also in terms of morals. One might argue that economic prosperity and morality go hand in hand. Thats true to an extant, but there are regions in India which are more economicaly backward yet morally above Biharis.
I feel, Bihar just needs some greate inspiring success stories to fall in track.
