The initiatives taken by Manmohan Singh and UPA to uplift the economy will certainly bring peace to the region.
However, the Government should be very careful about the Chinese encroachment into Arunachal. We have already lost a lot of territory in 1962. Let us be very very careful of the Chinese Dragon

Sir, The initiatives taken by UPA and Manmohan singh has nothing to do with peace in NE or Kashmir. That is completely a seperate issue. Please dont get carried away reading English and mostly foreign influced media and tall claims of govt!India Shining but only for 10% of the population. For rest in rural areas and beyond few metros life remain the same!Govt's internal and external policies are pathetic!Visiting Arunanchal is not going to help the region!Despite having 9% GDP there are no roads, electricity and basic facilities in most of the India.Yes communication has improved due to opening up the sector to private sector.(Imagine BSNL and govt owned bodies contribution in this field in last 60yrs) Only hope is that these MNCs and private sector try to develop infrastructure in rural India to grab the market. But that is too far and not easy!Again if tht happens it is not due to Govt policies because on paper govts in India have implemented and spent huge money in rural areas and if only 50% of those plans had been implemented India would have been near its goal.
