I dont agree: no doubt we can build anything if we desire, every thing is here, man power and money also, but the problem is that highest level people dont want it build idegeniouly, instead they want to to purchase from outside. If we can build a rocket, why we canot build defence equips here, it is a clear lack of will, and nothing will fly over money.

that is difficult dude. bcoz India Govt. can afford to pay high prices to buy junk from Russia and US but can't pay a good salary to hire good Engineers and Naval Architects.

Yes, we have the capacity to do it...ha ha. It will take us 30 years to build the first prototype of the warship, which will be promptly rejected by the navy. Finally the project will be scrapped after wasting thousands of crores of rupees. India is still building the Arjun battle tank for more than 30 years...army still waiting! Finally army is buying Russian tanks.

I honestly agree with you. We are loosing precious life almost every day due to these junks in the Indian armed forces.
