You are partially correct. All Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, Parsis and other minor religious people are Indians first. But the important group left out in this will not accept this view. For them ,they are not Indians first.

Absolutely correct, Muslims in India are Indians first, if they are indulging in criminal activities or are anti nationalists they should be meted out the deserving punishment as per the laws of our country. Just because he/she is a muslim does not absolve them or immunise them against the law of our land.

I too condemn the paintings of MF Hussain, Muslims too feel something as sacred as a god or goddess should not be toyed around with and their dignity and sanctity should be maintained.

If Afzal Guru is found guilty by the judiciary, he should be punished without exception.

We are Indians first, even Quran advocates loyalty to motherland. Anybody doing otherwise is antinational and should be severely dealt with.

I request all our people not to be so antagonistic towards muslims and jump to condemn them as a society as a whole whenver one muslim does something wrong.

We are with you brothers, and would like to walk with you all shoulder to shoulder for our wonderful country towards progress and prosperity.

Amen

Well - how can you have a faith in judiciary any more? Immediate case in point is Pandhera case and the others are-
Lallu's loot (not to mention about his eveteaser son protected by tax-payer paid bodyguards)
Mayawati%u2019s loot,
Karunanidhi's criminal records,
Phoolan Debi, Sadhu Yadav, Amar Singh, Mulam Yadav%u2019s excellent criminal records supported by new Sahara baron Subrata Roy
Loot by Dhirubhai in conjunction with padmabhusan Pranab
Loot by Birlas & Goenkas for decades after decades
Loot by Pawar, Praful Patel, Manohar Joshi, Paswan, Mahajan (the deceased)
Loot by statistically significant number of the revenue, customs and excise officials,
Looting of exchequers by tax dodging community (again statistically significant ) such as businessmen, artist, film-makers, doctors, players, teachers, contractors, real estate developers, engineers, banking officials, clerks in Government offices, brokers just to name the few
Loots by young yuppies (in Technology, Management, Entertainment) in paying in Black Money for booming Real Estate properties %u2013
I may be sarcastic and pessimist but there is a reason why our country is one the most corrupt country in the planet earth. The change must begin from us in Technology profession to start with.

The way Muslims opposed a very small alimony amount to a very poor woman like Shahbano was shocking. Forget any religion, what personal laws were violated if a poor woman receives some maintenance from her husband?

And Arif Mohd. Khan was the only politician who fought for Shah Bano. I can never forget that, the fellow displayed his true secular credentials in a time of such crisis. He is truly secular like Maulana Azad.
