Dear lakshmi there was another movie made by raj kumar kumar santhoshi which was a copy of seven samurai in which urmila sings chamma chamma.Please have ur facts right before typing here.

Sorry friends, Sholey is not original. Its not a mere remake of SEVEN SAMURAI. But it was inspired from SEVEN SAMURAI.

But Sholay is a great hit right. Very less people remember Seven Samurai. Even small child stop crying if u tell him soja munna varna Gabbar aayega.

FYI. SEVEN SAMURAI is a Japanese movie. Directed by legendary director Akira Kurosawa.

Not Raj Kumar Santoshi, but Ram Gopal Verma, he also acknowledged that China Gate is a copy of Seven Samurai and tribute to Japanese director Kurosawa.
