on the 61sth year of Independence,I pledge today that I will not again in my life vl comment on matters that vl divide Ind into north or south. I also pledge that i not make any remark aganst the muslims or other castes that hurts the sentiments. Friends let us join in making India a Greater India.

Status quo may be good for you and therefore it may help you not to react. But it is not necessarily good for the underprivileged also.

I appreciate your pledges. Will muslims and other castes also pledge in the same manner as yourself. Let it not be one sided. It is like pestering the wife to keep getting dowry even after thirty years of marriage.
