My heart goes out for the families of the deceased.

Govt should take stern actions to avoid this kind of situation.

Excellent way of showing sympathy and feeling the trouble people have been facing.

Good to see the MP is standing in the waist high water instead of doing a visual inspection from a helicopter as our usual politicians do.

tolichowki is of NRI colonies, just enquire the market value of tolichowki land, u will know it by urself.....

Really? Apart from dismantling the settlements along the Musi which are encroachments upon the oroginal storm sewer plans, what else can be done to prevent this from being a yearly event?

Raju, before making suggestions, you should take a closer look at the history of Hyderabad. Read upon the post 1904 flood storm sewer construction plans. It'll give you the precise reason for the tragedy.

Hyderabad was prepared for worse rains than these.
