U r saying that the rates of posts hv increased, meaning thereby that Congress & UPA, both r corrupt, but the former is more corrupt. Then why Punjabis give votes to these corrupt politicians? Is it that Punjabis hv accepted corruption as part of normal life?
But what did MMS do? He allowed bribing on a mass scale, improving the achievement of PVN Rao, the previous Congress PM, who had bribed only a few MPs.

yeah dont u know that all parties are corroupt and there is some government in every state .. but Badal (akali plus bjp combine govt in punjab) they just break all benchmarks of corrouption ... as far as MMS query - sixth pay commission, continuing export growth despite appreciating rupee, farm loan waiver, RTI act, national rural employee gaurantee scheme, pushing national highway projects, perfect budgetary allocations in five yr plan by montek singh, nuclear deal for energy security ( though u will debate over it coz u dont read the entire context first).. The only blackspot in his tenure has been inflation but rbi and finance ministry did enough to control it , but it was global phenomenon this time with oil prices and global economy slowdown and all ... wha i m saying is that just dont criticize on whatever comes your way , gather enough information and then only come to some conclusion

reetmohinder singh, do not worry about some people criticising but what you said about MMS holds true for the nation and not only Punjab! The present opposition is carrying out opposition to the point of obstruction helped by the in-house opposition of the reds till recently! And I support MMS for his leadership who was ready to sacrifice a govt for somthing he believed in and which will have large scale implications for the future of India! Grudgingly, I also admire the Iron Lady for supporting MMS totally and without strings attached!

Please tell here which political party is free of corruption. secondly for your information if you have studied last Punjab Elections only 3% vote swing was decisive. this was true in last and second last elections. only outcome is different. most of candidates had won on very marginal diff. The above post is to make all understand that Post of JATHEDAR of AKAL THAKHAT SAHIB is not involved in finicial matters. SGPC is. duties of JATHEDAR is to lead the community and take decisions in better interest of community. THIS post used to be very important for SIKHs but again AKALIs have made a joke out of it. replacing JATHEDAR on thier wish it is really a shameful development for all SIKHs. as this is not the case of Post but what this POSt really means. You can compaire JATHEDAR with a ARMY Chief who is there to lead the entire Army in the Name of PRESIDENT. remember this comparision is not meant that there is any war.
