Man, I am a Chennai Tamil - I backed the LTTE because they are a minority who have been abused- and politic has not resolved anything, so war is there only way out. I think you are wrong pushing the Hindus in J&K to the wall- sooner or later - somebody from that community will rise up - and will a non-political style outfit in J&K - so if nothing will be done for them - then in the future accept that Hindu boys in J&K will be supporting an organisation that will want to re-claim their land - not through politics but through war. So be careful - donot underestimate the Pandits.

the reason they were kicked out is because muslims were not given what was promised to them in 1948. they were always second to pandits because the dogra rajas favored pandits and forbade muslims from going into high positions, so pandits ended upbeing better educated and with better jobs because of a legacy of discrimination. Muslims were the majority, but the power was with the pandits. that caused resentment that boiled over in 1986. the last straw was when those pandits supported india. so actually, they were evicted because of a LEGACY of oppression (because of the dogras).
And besides, pandit youths have forgotten Kashmir. Only the old ones want to come back. the youths would prefer to go to delhi, bombay, dubai, or bangalore. the youths don't care to come back to a poor valley in which they know they are not welcome. they see their futures in indian cities, not kashmiri ones.

Ya I pray as well but thats not the solution...We Should go to delhi/jammu and take part in the protests..Thats the only way to strengthen the resolve of our Jammu Brothers...
If they feel that the rest of the country is not supporting them..they will give up soon
