Rubbing the salt on Hindu wounds
by teri maki on Aug 05, 2008 10:21 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Amarnath is the most sacred pilgrimage for Kashmiri Hindus who are mostly Shavites
A small piece of barren land on an inaccessible mountain and a difficult mountain terrain was given for construction of some shelters so that the journey of Pilgrims could be made a little safe because only a few years back more than 350 Yatris were killed due to cold and extreme climate near Amarnath. But some inhuman hate mongers protested for such a small thing. The reason some fanatics protested is that they did not like the land in Kashmir to be given to a Hindus especially for a Hindu temple.

UPA government has shown that it is completely subservient to muslim vote bank by revoking the land allocation. That is because Muslims are the only segment which support Congress now. SCs support Mayavati, OBC support OBC parties, rest of the Hindus support BJPThe land is very important for the safety of Amarnath Yatris.

When Indian Government can give subsidy to Haj pilgrims why not a small piece of land for the safety of Hindu Pilgrims ? Does Indian government have no responsibility towards the safety of Hindu Pilgrims?

This is not a muslim land or land belonging to any person but a land where for thousands of years Hindu pilgrims have camped on their way to Amarnath. Therefore technically the land belonged to the Amarnath pilgrims and the transfer was just a mere legality.

Terrorists after chasing away a tiny minority (5%) from the valley burned down their homes and temples so that they can never return and now this insult is like rubbing salt to their wounds. These terrorists were released by PDP-Congress government calling it "Healing touch policy". After release they were given government jobs and compensation in order to rehabilitate them. While at the same time Kashmiri Hindus continue to live in inhuman concentration capmps where they can hardly feed their families. Government gives them mere 200 rupees per person while the United nations relief fund for palastinians is about 10,000 per person per month. This has led to a feeling of injustice among Hindus and fanned the islamo fascism of sepratists who were encouraged to the extent that they protested the amarnath land allocation. Hindus feel that inspite of opposing seperatism and supporting India's claim on Kashmir they have been mistreated and betrayed by psuedo secular government, media and people of India. Even today the Indian pseudo secular media does not cover our agitation while it gives full coverage to seperatist mobs
