Measures required
by Ram Sharma on Aug 05, 2008 06:35 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Following measures r required for dealing with the mad Islamic terrorists:

1. Good Muslims should gather courage and create public opinion amongst fellow Muslims against these terrorists, who r now not sparing even hospitals. They r worse than animals. Definitely Allah has not given permission to anyone to kill innocent and patients.

2. Muslim organisations should strongly criticise these activities and issue Fatwa against terrorist activities. All Muslims in USA strongly criticised these after 9/11.

3. Govt should re-introduce strong anti terror law like Pota, which was removed just to please communal Muslims. Some people argue that there were terrorist attacks even during Pota age. To them my question is “there r lot of murders, robberies, thefts etc in the country despite many laws. Should we remove these laws?”

4. Govt should not further delay hanging of the biggest terrorist Afzal just for getting some votes of communal Muslims. What is the use of having courts, if sentences awarded by it r meant to b broken by the Central Govt?

5. Govt should propagate one child family planning on the lines of China (doing it since 1979). Many poor Muslims hv lot of children, who cannot b brought up properly and can easily fall in terrorist organisations.

6.Govt should investigate what is taught in Madrasas.

Other terrorists like Naxalites, LTTE, north easterners r not religion based.

Hi Ram,

I do agree with your practical ideas and constructive approach. . I think, measure should be applicable to majority community as well. Because, what comments I am following here on this forum are full of hatred and immaturity. I have seen few people talking practical things, otherwise, most people on both sides, are simply talking to satisfy their anger and hatred against one another - that have no practical value excepting causing further misunderstandings in already troubled society.

Ram, there is urgent need of PEACE EDUCATION starting from School level. I think, our curriculum must include peace education, so that children when grow as responsible citizen must not act the way their ancestors (if so) behaved, with full of hatred and enmity.

There is urgent to work on attitude change of all sides. What do you think?
After 60 years, we are still fighting for nothing. We are still not developed mentally, perhaps technologically we are. Let us begin chapters to uniting the people. Otherwise claim and blame has no end.

With regards
Ashaq
