What the apex court is doing...
by Sababathi on Aug 04, 2008 01:02 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

What the apex court is doing when karnataka refused to give cauvery water and when apex court allowed TN to increase the height of mualli periyar dam in Kerala. Kerala clearly violates the rule and still it is not being implemented

Bandh is a part and parcel in Kerala and West Bengal and what the apex court is doing

I am not a follower of Karunanidhi

But judiciary should be equal to all

You are rightly said. What happened to the 1000 times adjournment for cases against Jayalalitha. What about delaying tactics followed by her. What was SC doing when Karnataka and Kerala went against water sharing orders issued by SC itself. These judges are against Karunanidhi as he is from a most backward community. This is real discremination.

If any time SC was failed to give wrong justice, then we should be happy that this time , Sc gave a good Justice.
Friend, at least , this time , you should be happy that SC gave a good decision.Say thanks to SC, not criticise every time for the decision.

Its not a good decision, every other day there is a bandh all over india.

Supreme court never questioned these bandhs neither before this rulling nor after this decision.

Dear Sam, in this case there was a specific order or restraint against Karuna and Co. Still they indulged in Bandh for gaining cheap popularity.

Beauty is in the eye of beholder, for some people this bandh may look like Cheap Popularity, but for some people its a protest to demand for their economic prosperity

We agree that judiciary should be equal to all. The other states also should be punished for noncompliance with Court orders. Similarly, the Kerala arrest warrant against the Delhi Mullah should also be carried out. People like Mani Shankar Aiyar who defends the non arrest of the Imam of Jumma Masjid should be proceeded against for contempt of court. Incidentally, but importantly, the supporters of UPA (and now Karuna) have dubious record of conduct.
