Now a days people are making the ram sethu a big issue Some times they quote kamb ramayan, tulsi ramayana, molla ramayan, etc. Actually the basis of Ramayan is Valmiki Ramayan. In this, Valmiki clearly described that Ram alongwith his vanara sena built a sethu from Rameshwaram to Lanka with the help of Neel & Aneel, architects (rather civil engineers)of the sethu Sugreeva while sending his sena in search of Sita to all four corners of the world, described the topography of the world with the physiques languages, mannerisms of the people to the incharges of the sena.While sending Hanuman to south side he described about the towns enroute, distance from sea bed to Lanka, etc. If one reads Valmiki Ramayan printed by Geeta Press, Gorakhpur in almost major indian languages nobody will raise such nonsensical issues about the existence of ram setu.

The britishers have confused the new generation saying Ramayan occured 10000 years back. When spiritual leaders mention 10000years back it means 10000 years of demigods as Sanskrit is all a language of demigods. Ram was born on 10 January in the 28th Kalpa or part of TretaYuga. Going back to Treta Yuga means 1.3 million years. According to Nasa the Ram Setu is 1,75,000 years old...which matches the approx calculation.
The human beings now think they are the most advanced in all time..which isnt the truth. Over the years man has degraded more into a animal. He has created Religions, Castes, Money, Creeds and Politicians for his own benefit.
The same version of Ramayan exists in world throughout, in India written in various languages by different writers along the lineage. The Khotyana Ramayana, from turkey has mentioned existence of Rama and the bridge. Rama was famous in persia as Ram or Rum as pronounced.
Ram just didnt belong to Bharata, He was the glory of this world, an example to sons, mothers, fathers, kings, emperors, warriors, ethics of humanity.
His Ashwamedha horse roamed all this earth and no king whatsoever dared to touch it as they all respected RAMA and knew the glory of His valour.
Thanks to the curse of that sage that made GOD come on earth and live some years as a normal human being which in return gave a message of "how a King should be without regards to his personal interests".
If at all what India needs now is a king like RAMA.
