People of Jammu are in dire straits and its very disturbing that no one neither the media nor government is taking corrective action to stop this issue. J&K goverment for last 6 decades have neglected the development and growth of Jammu and people of jammu are not only feeling neglected but also humilated because of the policies of the Government. If jammu as a city have developed its all because of the revenue it had generated from the pilgrims who come for the Vaishno Devi Shrine... where are the industries or goverment jobs for people of jammu. J&K administration is 87% muslim inhabitated. Administration in Jammu itself boosts 65% of muslims even though Jammu is a Hindu Dominated Province. Whats happening at present is not just a reaction to one issue but its the reaction of mass against the 60 yrs of deprivation and neglect which people of jammu have been subjected to.

It is unfortunate that we are a a part of Jammu.In 1947 not a single hindu was killed by Kasmiris ,we carried thousands of hindus to Jammu and on reaching Jammu people killed all coachman of kashmir.People of Kashmir agitated against land transfer but there was no harm to yatris .Due to Hartal no eatables were available in the market.We arranged food and shelter for them because we r not communals People of Jammu are targetting MUslims of Jammu who live in pathetic conditions.Jammu is a big hurdle to our developement.
