Big deal!
by Mahesh on Aug 01, 2008 09:07 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

We are voluntarily giving access to IAEA to come and inspect our Nuclear installations. Why wouldn't they agree? What is there to crow about it?

Another bs. I support the nuclear deal. Just tell me what is there to crow about IAEA approval? They are getting access where they had none.

Seems you became aware of this issue recently. The main reason why this is good is that it is the first steps to end India's isolation in Nuclear energy.
So India can start importing fuel and reactors ASAP.

I'm talking about IAEA approval not about the nuclear deal between India and US.

the approval, I think was a precondition to the deal.

what wrong with exposing our nuclear reactors to an international body for inspection? .. when we don\'t do anything wrong.

I did not say it is wrong as part of Indo-US deal but what is there to crow about IAEA approval? Let's wait and see if NSG approves without any conditions.
