All surveys can go wrong. But CNN-IBN only went wrong in the case of Punjab. (Akali Dal-BJP combine got seats disporportinate to their very miniscule vote lead). Where there is more than 10% vote lead, than surveys command a very high degree in certainity

Also, CNN-IBN is not neutral and is always pro-Congress as it is run by Christian groups. For example in Hy.Karnataka BJP also very strong and can get more seats than congress. I personally know this area very well.

Mysore and Charmrajnagar region BJP got good leaders like Benki, subhash, GT devegowda, Revanasiddaiah and even in Mandya BJP got Madhu Madegowda , Kempegowda and Prakash 3 good leaders. Most of the times winning election is depending on local candidate chosen by a party. So it is not like calling 5000 peoples and asking for their opinion.
