Some of the fanatics on this board are suggesting that India align with US and fight against Muslim countries - for what? US does not have any special love for India - it just need to counter balance China and also America needs cheap labor and access to the Indian market. So please don't get too excited with the new found American love, it comes with a fine print and an expiration date.

China has nuclear weapons and has supplied the nuclears technology to Pakistan and in turn Pakistan has sold these technology to Iran.
Now India is surrounded by countries with nuclear weapons. At this situation only America and Israel can help to stop the growth of nuclear weapon developments around India.
You are more worried about Islamic countries nuclear program than India's security.

The US provides India with jobs, for one.
Nuclear Iran is a threat to India as it is to the rest of the world. Non democratic Ahmedinejad regime is a threat to democracies like India and the US and once he has a stranglehold on Indian economy by being able to cut off the gas supply - it will be too late.
