Inddeed the U.S. is in a financial and foreign policy mess. World is changing. But Islamic world is not as reflected in his statement "PURE PEOPLE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO GOVERN THE WORLD. He should not forget that India is a SECULAR country and such utterances from a guest head of a state cannot be appreciated. It is agreed that the U.S. cannot bully others the way it has been doing in the past. However, that does not mean it is collapsing. In fact it can never collapse the way Iran collapsed in the seventies after Shah. The type of collapse the Iranian president is talking can happen only in Islamic states or totalitarian regimes. In U.S. the democratic instituitions are very strong and it is an open society with people fully involved at every stage of governance. Even the wrong policies and bad presidency of Bush is not endorsed by the majority American people and they will effect the change very soon. But can we think of such things in IRAN or any other Islamic country (except Turkey perhaps)? India should have good relations with both countries and bear no hatred for either.
