This subject is not about being independent in foreign policy matters. This is about how you go doing it. The UPA has proved highly inept on the Chinese and N-deal fronts due to the pressure exerted by the left partners. Now they are making a joke of themselves by allowing Ahmedinejad to speak crap from Delhi. The Iranian prez is a known bigmouth, and they should have dealt with him more carefully. Although, this news doesn't make any headline elsewhere, so one should have doubts about Rediff's motives as well.
