Sonia Gandhi's sympathy for Nandigram victims
by NARAYAN KURUP on Apr 28, 2008 05:42 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

When the innocent women and girls of Nandigram were being raped, when their family members were being killed besides burning down their homes, Sonia Gandhi and her so called Gandhian ideologists were sitting in Airconditioned houses. After the Nandigram shootout by the CPM cadres and the Police comrades, they took the administration in their own hands for several days and they even took the responsibility of dumping the bodies of the victims. At that time the UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and her Cabinet Ministers from West Bengal namely Pranab Mukherjee and P.R. Das Munshi were busy in enjoying the fruits of power and perks gifted to them by the Marxists even though almost all the people of this country including writers, poets and intellectuals raised their protests against the atrocities committed on the hapless people of Nandigram. Had Sonia Gandhi been concerned about the plight of the Nandigram people, she would have visited the place at least once. Now she is shedding crocodile tears not out of love for the victims and their families but with a vote catching motive during the ensuing Panchayat election in the State.

Very rightly said!the people should be aware of this false affection and love shown by the President of the most castiest, communal and pseudosecular party in India.I appeal to all the voters to be on guard and not to get carried away by such drama.
