Shri Anantamurthy's points are about marginal issues
by Guru Murthy on Apr 28, 2008 09:47 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

One needs to move with the times. The points put forth by shri anantamurthy assume some amount of past baggage. a government has to assume full responsibility for illiteracy and poverty. the rest must be left to market forces. if this is not done china will rule supreme.

Ananthmurthy is a social thinker. If he says something, it must be given due seriousness. Learning a language amidst people is a great opportunity. Never consider it as a liability.
English has bluntted our thinking process.
