Kannada
by Alan Penguin on Apr 29, 2008 02:48 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Kannada is a dying language. Few centuries ago, there were more Kannada speakers than Telugu. Now Kannada speakers are quarter of the number of Telugu speakers. The reason for this is Telugu is more adaptable and tolerant. Non-adaptable nature of any language is bad for it, but fascist version of it kills it quicker.

Karnatka born Tulugu people in Karnataka like Kannada, more than Telugu. They read and write in Kannada language and they are proud to to say that they are Kannadigas. Don't spread hatred between Telugu and Kannada people. Your mean mentality will not work in Karnataka. The Karnatka Telugu people itself will throw you out from Bangalore if you say infront of them.
