Islamic law is strict but it is higly illogical as far as rape is concerned. The resason, under shariah one can only be convicted of rape if there are 3 male witnesses to the rape. Now there never are 3 witnesses, because if indeed there are then those 3 people also become co rapist logically(else what were they watching a live porn?). So you never get a rape conviction. Look at Saudi Arabia, recently a rape victim was instead punished because rape could not be proven, secondly since she claimed rape it meant she agreed to being in presence of male strangers. She was given 50 lashes for the latter. That is the great islamic law.

If you look at the story from the point of view of a victim you might disagree. But you might find ingenuity if you analyze it from the perspective of a Judge.

If a rape is committed, the woman should go and inform the police at her convenience (not after 3 months). Medical examination would prove the things and the culprit would be prosecuted.

If it a law in Saudi that women cannot go to men other than her brother, father or husband, a woman who alleges rape must explain how she was found in the company of men. If it is established that men broke into her house and did the crime, the culprit would be prosecuted.

It is not justified that a woman has a sexual relationship with someone and if the person doesn't agree to here blackmailing, then she alleges rape and the person is in trouble.
This is a common kind of rape reporting in India
