Because of age old and deliberate neglect of the plight of tribals and denying them their legitimate rights by Politicians and Bureaucrats for the last 60 years since independence,naturally the tribals find Maoist and Naxalite ideology very attractive without realising that these ideologies are attractive only on paper. In reality they further tie them down and they do not have any salvation from their precarious plight and exploitation.Our Govt must first be sincere to wean these tribals from the Naxalites for which they must be made economically independent.We must give them basic education,healthcare and relieve them from the clutches of feudal moneylenders and exploiters.We citydwellers cannot understand and appreciate their difficulties.CPM is exploiting poor people of West Bengal for the last 30 years.People at large in rural areas have remained poor & backward in West Bengal despite tall talks of CPM rulers.Only CPM rulers have become rich.Jyoti Basu is the richest Communist in India.Empty slogans and ideology cannot feed the masses.That is why Communism in Eastern Europe and Soviet Union fell like pack of cards.Nepal is going back to the same fate under Maoist regime led by Prachanda and Bhattarai.Sooner we will find that Nepal becomes another West Bengal or Waste Bengal.
