-- It is a perception thing. US wants India to fight its proxy war with China. India should exploit it and extract a good deal from both. Also India should remember than if it becmoes a pawn, it would be treated like one. China knows that US is trying to pit India against China and appears to soften its stand. The world needs to be more afraid of unipolar world with US doing as it pleases than Pakistan or China.
There is no proof that China ever gave any nukes to Pakistan. All such misinformation comes from the western media. US would like India to be a pawn in their game to contain China. India has no reason to fall into this trap.
