Richard Boucher's statement needs to be properly analysed. Rediff asked him a very convenient question to which he had a ready answer! It is very clear that either Rediff is also a party to this fraud or plainly naive and outright ignorant. Why did Rediff ask him if the Hyde Act was binding on India once it signes the 123-deal? It is such a foolish question with a hundred holes for the other party to walk out without leaving any tracks behind. After all every American spokesperson has clearly said that American Presidents are bound to America's domestic laws and America's domestic laws supercede all bilateral or multilateral treaties that any US Administration, present or future, enters into them with any one or group of countries. So what does it mean? It means that the moment India signs the 123-deal, it has to start working towards operationalising it. This means opening up of all the designated nuke facilities to inspection, dismantling new ones under construction,stopping all future nuke development plans. Besides, India also has to start investments (of billions of dollars)for purchase of US nuke power plants, etc. After sinknig all this investment imagine a situation which forces India to test a nuke bomb. Then the Hyde Act binds US to stop all cooperation as it supercedes 123-deal. So as Boucher said while India is not bound to Hyde Act, but US is!American Attorneys will tell you how right they are!! That is typical American fraud which we sample even now with MNCs!

Besides, look at the way US is behaving, asking India to advise Iran to stop Uranium enrichment. This even before India has tied up into any strategic alliance with US. Imagine what will be fate of this country after it signs the 123-deal. They will become even more strident and arrogent once India falls into the 123-trap. This is a unique trap which will bind the country financially, politically, militarily and even civilizationally. India as a nation will become subordinate and subservient to the 'great American super power civilization'. Once the 123-deal is set into motion, steadily India's strategic defence infrastructure and future plans will fall under the purview of intense US surveillance. The strategic think-tanks will be filled with US moles who will work solely for their masters. Besides, these 'think-tanks' will steadily bind India to US interests by committing trillions of dollars of taxpayers money to buy US products and systems. There will be no way of reversing or turning back once this happens. That is how the British enslaved us, though they had to do it physically then. Now it will be done using modern communication and information channels which will be even more constricting and suffocating than physical subjugation. Unfortunately, we have all western indoctrinated psuedo-intellectuals who have no power of independent thinking. Our PM MMS is a typical psuedo-intellectual with no power to think independently. He is a slave of the Gandhi family!

US tactics is pretty simple. They allow their diplomats talk every here and there and if they see it boomerangs, the big guns will distance themselves away from it. If it goes well, it will become their policy from then onwards. India should take a strong stance not against such blah-blah but against this US tactics so that they will be forced to restrain themselves from making such irresponsible and nonsense statements.
