LOL @ development ... this is an election gimmick ... to woo farmers ... what's with free electricty? why should anyone be given anything recurrent for free
free education is understandable, but free electricity? free food? free clothes?
when will we stop making our own people free loaders?

In India we are not producing sufficient food grains some need support all type formers to boost food production. There is nothing wrong in free power up to 10HP to formers than giving colour TV. We need to help farmers to produce more for grains in India. Look at the Panjab and Gujrat -- they are leaders in India for food production.

Gujrat, power to agriculture is not free. Farmers in Gujrat have to pay a fixed amount depending on duration and HP capacity of pumping sets.

even free education has its loophole. Free education invites non-serious students, who disturb the class and examination system.

Free Education is even there in western countries. So there is nothing wrong in providing free education rural peoples.

Instead of free education, government should introduce voucher system (Education coupon) to poor (if possible to all) students.
