This school is an insult to real Chilian culture !! Singing a foreign country's national anthem; imagine an Indian school singing the chilian anthem EVERY DAY.....

I agree. I would definitely feel insulted if someone did this in India. Tribute could be for a day, not everyday. I am surprised that the chilian people don't mind this in their country. Can you imagine a school singing a paki national anthem everyday in an indian school? Oh no no no!!

YES ITS TRUE. EVEN IF THEY ARE SINGING INDIAN NATIONAL ANTHEM, I HOPE THEY ARE SINGING CHILEAN NATIONAL ANTHEM FIRST. ITS IMPORTANT FOR CHILEANS TO SING THEIR OWN COUNTRY'S NATIONAL ANTHEM FIRST BEFORE INDIA. OTHERWISE THERE WOULD BE A WRONG IMPRESSION OF INDIA.

i regret that sarcasm is hard to express through the typed word - those chilean schoolchildren are helping to bring countries together by singing both countries anthems together - and it is an excellent and touching thing to do.
it is saddening that there have been replies "agreeing" with me that those schoolchildren are insulting their country.
At any rate I am glad the it is Ms Patil who went on that her visit to that school. her opponent comes from a party that is more sensitive to national "pride" - it might raise some questions by people in his own party wanting to get a little notice.
