RE:Fate of Kannada flim industry.... by sivasubramanian on Apr 23, 2008 10:02 AM   Permalink Dear James you are correct, The existance of kannada language itself a myth, It is need to be called as Telugu only,Because kannada liby are telugu,only some dialatic differ from tamil/telugu.So the surivival of that film industry is difficult when you splice the people to neighbouring languages like tamil/telugu/malayalam/marathi/konkani/tulu. Major people don't want to identify themselves with kannada for generation even in kannada people are calling to be Urdhu/tamil/konkani/tulu/marathi/telugu/malayalam.So it is good for kannadigas to live in peace with others.    Forward   |   Report abuse
