Probably you were not even born at that time, so you are talking lightly of the emergency era. The mayhem, the carnage created by killing the democracy would remain the single most black spot in the post independent Indian History.

You mean terrorist attacks likie Mumbai Blasts [3 major - Dozen minors], Hyderabad [2], Varanasi [3], Delhi [half a dozen], Comibatore, Bangalore, Malegaon [3], Nagpur [1] etc [All under Congress UPA] will not happen again if Congress returns? Or that Bangladeshi terrorism & patronization will also decrease if Congress returns to Power? Did Khalistanis blow up Air India planes after hijacking in BJP rule? Who helped Khalistanis and LTTE? Who is responsible for 1500 Indian soldiers killed in Sri Lanka? Who is supporting terrorists and appeasing them for Muslim votebanks?

i do not think bjp had such good position in karnataka. becz,party become weeken in split of thier leaders views.bjp lost the chance took people good will by party leaders attitude
