UP once produced great leaders.. UP also produced the primary battleground for hindu - muslim polarisation in politics before independence.. coz of which the Muslim League cud consolidate and finally get the country partitioned.. now , since 1990 SP, BJP and BSP have run and ruined the state.. the last civilised govt of UP under ND Tiwari was demolished in '90 inspite of commendable development and industrialisation.. we all know wht exactly is the situation of UP on economic, law and order and eductaional fronts. now mayawati aspires to be PM or play king maker! god! if that ever happens within 5 yrs there will be no india as we know it! there will be civil war, emptying of the govt coffers,.. civil war and finally maybe army takeover! ( btw the same may happen if modi becomes PM)!

well what u say is empirically correct.. hindi tyranny has been imposed on india by these sates and they hv brought down standards in all institutions they hv set their eyes on.. trains passing thru UP / Bihar are nightmares for decent passengers travelling with valid reservations.. but friend these same people are hardworking and diligent when outside their states.. they work hard uncomplainingly at jobs where the comfort loving locals are no no! and btw.. how abt maharashtra? havent criminal organisations like th shiv sena and MNS thrived there? how abt bengal which has romanticised political killings under the lofty label of marxism? how abt kannadiga chauvinism and tamil blindness about filmstars-politicians? aint it the same all over?

where does communism come in here? who mentioned that? i dont get yr point. who made sweeping statements about whom? i just pointed out shiv sena and MNS are criminal organisations .. going by their openly rowdy behaviour.. and the worst genocides in free india hv been commited by the shiv sena openly and brazenly for decades now! what was bombay before the britishers? who made bombay what it is today? the maharashtrians?

The Maharashtran Divisive Angle to Mayawati Culture 1. Please donot take on Maharashtra as your own. Exclude Mumbai and what is Maharashtra? Do you recall Maharashtra prior to Mumbai being hived off to Maharashtra in the 1950's from Gujrat/ Baroda state. 2. Indians pressed their export business from Mumbai shores because it was accessible port for North India after the dawn of Naxalism 1965 onwards in West Bengal whose Calcutta port was the major Indian port immediately after Independence. 3. Now Mumbai is getting its bread from the other states and Maharashtrians start claiming their good role. God forbid if Dahej, Jamnagar and Mundra become business hubs then what happens. Calcutta lost its virtue because of its inhabitants. Mumbai can also as it also has people who make it what it is today and certainly it is not ONLY Maharashtrians.

I will oppose Hindi/Urdu since all regional like Marathi, Gujjarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Tamil, Kannada, languages are being sidelined.

mayawati, mulayam singh , kalyan singh etc are all unmitigated disasters! all of them hv pushed UP to the brink.. anyone who has lived and worked in UP prior to '90 will vouch for that.. cant u see what UP is today friend? mayawati has been again and again hauled up by courts on massive massive corruption cases! ask any industrialist trying to do business in UP ! her personal ill gotten gains are legend! and if anyone says anything abt it her answer is " dalit ke beti se yeh log jalte hai"! meaning coz of her caste whatever she does is ok.. everything is excused! i shudder to think if ever she is the PM what will happen!
