The bane of Hinduism is the manu-smriti thumping clever-by-half upper-castes who believe in the soul-wrenching Karmic-cycle which dooms not only a person, but his descendents as well. Dalits, listen up, the only way to break your Karmic Cycle is to convert to Islam, Christianity, Buddhism or Communism.

Let them convert atleast more seats will be available for the general class...
while in school no one knws each others caste, until they are up for college admission and lo and behold many of the worthless buggers get into those elite colleges bcoz of their caste and the deserving students are left in the lurch....personal experience.

if they convert to any of the three then instead of upper castes, dalits will be under the feet of either mullahs or goras or maoist upper castes. even with buddhism today it is slowly being controlled by the chinese. so what difference is conversion going to make? atleast within hinduism they get quotas etc.
