1. History of "Islamic Wars" is only 40 years long. Thereafter Islamists and Islam never approved of anything that Muslim Kings did. Muslim Kings are culprits first and foremost in Eyes of Islam
2. Islamic History of War starts with Muhammed pbuh and his followers coming out to face aggressors army in what is known as 'war of Badr'. It was purely defensive war.
3. "Islamic wars" continued for next 40 years as Islam established Caliphate within 10 years and sought to rid humanity of Parasite Kings,tyrants and warlords from face of the earth. Wherever Islamist armies gave kings/warlords a chase, they replaced it with very friendly, austere Caliphate where taxation above 4% was Strictly prohibited and Rule of Law was enforced to such level that even Caliph could not imagine of acting beyond it.
Towards end of this 40 years period, an aspiring governor (Amir Muawia) from within Islamist armies staged coup and established Kingdom again.
ISLAMISTS FOUGHT THESE MUSLIM KINGS TOOTH AND NAIL. But They could not restore Caliphate back.
Muslim Kings repressed Islamists ruthlessly and History is witness that in their ruthlessness Muslim Kings Killed entire clan of Muhammed's grandson Hussain in Karbala, and went on to burn Kaba in Mecca (in Yajeed - son of Muawia - period )

Everything that Muslims king did after upturning Caliphate was on their own sweet will. Islam had no links with it. History has only seen CRIMINLA KINGS FIGHTING CRIMINAL KINGS. MUSLIM KINGS were also CRIMINALS in eyes of Islam and Islamists.
Islam never supported, never approved of any Muslim Kingdom. Every Muslim King only curtailed Islamists because Islam and Islamists historically exhorted Muslims to rise and give every king a chase
