As a goodwill gesture the indian government should Change the Death sentence of Afzal Guru to life imprisionment.

I don't think that would qualify for a 'reciprocating' gesture as Afzal Guru is an Indian national like Sarabjit.If we want to reciprocate Pak's gesture if they pardon Sarabjit then we should also pardon a Pakistani prisoner languishing in one of our jails.Pardoning Afzal will not serve the purpose as he is not a Pakistani.Hope you get my point.

This guru must be hanged immediately before they kidnap some innocent & ask for his release in ex change of innocent citizens. gruru's crime does not quality for any leneancy.

Yes I agree we should convert it to life imprisonment and hand him to Punjab Police
