Theer is no need to debate who is a child. I yesterday's news paper there was a rport of a person from Yemen marrying a girl of 8 years and consumating the marriage as there is no minimum age fixed for marriage there. She has now got divorce and gone to her uncle's house as she did not want to go with her father! True tradition of Muhammed.
Also a recent report of Amnesty Internatinal has put three Islamic Countries (Saudi Arabia, Iran and Pakistan) among top 5 countries which executed the maximum number of convicts. This is the condition in countries following the devine law!

Avinash I honestly dont see any relation ship between number of convicts getting executed and a girl refusing to go with her father? You are unware of the crime rate of places where Islamic sharia is implemened!! Amnesty is right in saying,many convicts are executed,do you want convicts to roam freely that so that like america we can do statistics on how many rapes are happening per second?

1400 years ago , women were not playing with dolls and they were much more mature both physically and mentally. Going by your definition of child,the father of nation Gandhi should first be prosectued for child marriage,but doing so would be ridiculuos because the early genrations even if its just 100 yrs ago had a different level of biological and mental maturity. Now dont bluff this is a child marraige,Gandhi had his first son just 3 years of this marriage

I have repeated ad infinitum with proof that 9 yeard olf today has a different mental and biological characteristics.Before debating me, confirm at what age your previous generations for example our gradn mother s used to get married..It is not 21,it is not 18,it is not 16,it is much before 14.. and this is just one genaration above..
