In fact though he is known as Lalgudi Jayaraman he is actually from the near by village Valady (formerly known as Chaturveda Mangalam. It is regretted that, neither he nor his wife has not mentioned this great village in the interview.

it may have been an omission. also, it is his prerogative which place to mention. that is because it is HIS life and hi interview and not YOUR Interview. sabe?
